xradiostatici just got home from personally witnessing the most important event in american history: obama becoming the 44th president of the united states.
i'm still on a high, it's crazy. all of chicago is going crazy right now. it's just so amazing.

Date: 2008-11-05 09:48 pm (UTC)in sociology we were talking about it and people got to say their reactions and this one girl who is black started crying and saying people sometimes dont understand and how emotional her family and everyone was because all their life people told me they can't do something and if you dont' believe in anything believe inc hange because change is always constant. and her mother went through segregation and stuff and then my sociology teacher who is korean started crying well teary. i got kind of teary too and so did this other bosnian girl.
